Our Program for Specialized Behavioral Health Care – Montclair
Nancy’s Place is for our youth whose mental health poses an obstacle to their independence. We opened Nancy’s Place in Montclair for youth to address their mental health in a safe and supportive environment. At Nancy’s Place they can learn the skills they need to live on their own.
Located in Montclair, Nancy’s Place provides single bedrooms for 8 young people, 24-hour support and supervision and individualized mental health treatment.
Youth create a wellness plan addressing their physical, emotional, educational, employment, and spiritual goals. Each resident participates in the responsibilities of a shared household setting, which include chores, meal preparation, food shopping, and weekly activities.

Nancy’s Place was made possible through the vision and support of Covenant House New Jersey Board Member, Nancy King. Nancy’s passion is evident in this wonderful home for our young people who struggle with behavioral health challenges. Learn more about Nancy here.
