NY Giants Tackle Youth Homelessness
New York Giants, Saquon Barkley and James Bradberry to lead a special team of players and coaches to “Tackle Youth Homelessness” for Covenant House New Jersey
The “Tackle Youth Homelessness” initiative will give fans the opportunity to sign up for a 45-minute virtual group training session with the NY Giants. You can signup for one or more of the four virtual workouts.
Each workout is $50, which will benefit Covenant House New Jersey’s Dove Learning Center, which provides support services for education, job training, financial literacy, career exploration, and mental health and wellness.
Event registration will open on September 8th at 12:00 PM EST, as Barkley and Bradberry announce their team lineup for the players and coaches who will be leading the virtual workouts.
Space is limited to 275 people per workout
After registering you will receive a link to join Workout you sign up for. The day of the WorkOut using your electronic device you will click on the link and join the workout. The NY Giants players and coach on the lineup for that day will lead you in a 45-minute workout. No workout equipment will be needed to participate.
Covenant House New Jersey is partnering with the NY Giants for their “Inspire, Change, Support, Initiative” for the 2020-2021 season. Despite not being able to be in the stands this fall, fans will have the unique opportunity to workout virtually with Barkley, Bradberry and their teammates while helping youth overcome homelessness at Covenant House New Jersey.
“I have been involved with Covenant House New Jersey (CHNJ) for the last three years, and have seen firsthand the difference this program makes in the lives of the amazing young people they serve,” said Barkley. Barkley goes on to say that he is excited to be sharing this opportunity with NY Giants coaches, teammates and fans. “I hope our fans will join us for the workouts to support the resilient and courageous young people at Covenant House New Jersey.”
“We are so grateful for the ongoing support of the NY Giants,” said Covenant House New Jersey Executive Director Jim White. “I am confident that this virtual experience will be unforgettable.”
