Sponsors of A Night of Covenant House Stars online make a tremendous impact on the lives of youth experiencing homelessness and we are so grateful to the companies and individuals who are joining us in this special experience.
I want to thank you for loving and supporting our young people. Whether it’s sleeping out, volunteering, gathering supplies, being a part of our virtual Night of Covenant House Stars event last night, or giving a gift, you have made the choice to help our kids. Your actions state that it is not okay for young people to be homeless and you are doing something to make a difference. THANK YOU!
The past few months have been daunting, challenging, even disorienting at times. The word “unprecedented” seems to be overused by now, but it’s been the truth for us at Covenant House New Jersey. We’ve had to adjust to provide the care necessary to safeguard our kids and staff amidst COVID-19. We have had to recreate our spring fundraising events to bring in the funds to keep the lights on and doors open. Scary stuff.
Through all of this YOU have been there with us… You’ve donated… you’ve reached out to ask how our kids and staff are doing… you’ve supplied us with masks and food and XBoxes, and towels and art supplies. How lucky are we? THANK YOU!
I humbly ask that whatever the future brings, you remain committed to caring for the incredible young people who come to us. They are so much more than their circumstances. As a member of our Covenant House New Jersey community, you are helping us to help them. Your continued commitment is needed and deeply appreciated. THANK YOU!!!
