New York Giants Host Sleep Out

On Thursday, May 4, 2023, the New York Giants will host a powerful and unique event on the field at MetLife Stadium to support youth overcoming homelessness and survivors of human trafficking served by Covenant House New Jersey.

Sleep Out: Women Unite, hosted by Beth Daboll, wife of Giants head coach Brian Daboll, and Marie Schoen, wife of Giants general manager Joe Schoen, invite women from across the tri-state area to give up their beds for one night and sleep on the field at MetLife Stadium to raise funds and awareness for Covenant House New Jersey.

This is an incredible opportunity to join in solidarity for a vitally important cause, the future of our young people. We know there is nothing more powerful than a community of strong women dedicated to creating opportunities for young people to build a bright future. A life free of homelessness and human trafficking is within the reach of young people when they come to Covenant House New Jersey, and on May 4 we will come together to raise money that will give young people a fresh start.

There will be business leaders, community groups, mothers and aunts and grandmothers, all of whom believe in the great promise of our young people. A highlight of the night will be hearing from the young people who every day are doing the work to pursue the great promise of their lives. It will be an unforgettable night of community.

Listen to our hosts, Beth & Marie, describe the event and why they are choosing to give up one night of their lives. On May 4th, join them along with many of the players wives to support our work. Throughout the course of the evening, participants will have the opportunity to meet members of Covenant House New Jersey and the Giants organization that champion the issues of youth homelessness and human trafficking.

The NY Giants Presents Sleep Out: Women Unite at MetLife Stadium

Our Sleep Outs are a transformative overnight experience, similar to a 5K walk/run for a cause, where our youth, partners, volunteers, and staff all come together in solidarity, either virtually or in-person. The night includes a series of impactful programs and workshops, then everyone hunkers down and sleeps outside overnight. In the morning there is a time for reflection with everyone that is always very moving.

On May 4th, please join Beth, Marie and others from the New York Giant community in helping CHNJ and the youth facing homelessness we serve.
