Caesar’s Entertainment Supports Our Work in Atlantic City

Caesar’s Entertainment, on behalf of their casinos in Atlantic City, recently provided CHNJ with a $15,000 grant to support our work.

“We are grateful to have an opportunity to support Covenant House in their mission to end homelessness among young people in our area. This donation will allow the Atlantic City site to continue providing a safe place and resources for hundreds of individuals in our community,” said Joe Lodise, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Caesars Atlantic City.

Our Atlantic City site, located on Atlantic Ave, is one of our residential shelters in New Jersey. When a youth arrives at one of our shelters for help, we meet them where they are. We start with a smile, a kind word, a meal, a shower, clean clothes, and a bed where they can safely get some much needed rest. But that is just the start of what we do. In addition, we provide additional services and customized care designed to help transition youth to long term independent living.

We are so grateful to Caesar’s Entertainment for their continuing support over the years in so many ways. In addition to their grant, they provide job opportunities for our youth.
