Who is Covenant House NJ?

Covenant House NJ provides immediate shelter and care for youth facing homelessness age 18-21. CHNJ has received 11 consecutive 4-star ratings from Charity Navigator, a third party firm that evaluates a nonprofit organization’s financial health including measures of stability, efficiency & sustainability. Is this donation tax deductible?

Covenant House New Jersey is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Our EIN/Tax ID number is 13-3537710. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
