Dunkin’ Joy Makes Grant to CHNJ

Thank you to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation for their recent grant to support Covenant House New Jersey (CHNJ). The grant helps us address healthy food education and nutritional food access. The program will provide our young residents facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking with healthy eating guidance. This guidance will include

  • an educational video on an aspect of healthy eating,
  • a questionnaire to check for comprehension and
  • resource links for further information.

Thank you to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation for making a grant to CHNJ and advancing your mission of providing joy to kids who are battling hunger or illness. Thank you for helping to advance the nutritional awareness of our youth as they build a better life for themselves and navigate towards independent living.

Covenant House New Jersey provides comprehensive residential care and related services to help New Jersey’s youth. We journey with our young people from the streets, to our Residential Crisis Centers, to our transitional living homes, and on to independent living in the community to help them break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
