On October 13, 2021, volunteers from K&L Gates LLP came together to clean the gardens at Raphael’s Life House in Elizabeth as part of their Global Day of Service. RLH is a residential program for pregnant and parenting youth ages 18-21 who face homelessness. Youth receive the parenting and life skills needed to move forward to healthy independent living.
Volunteers showed up in their jeans and t-shirts, put on their working gloves, grabbed a spade, clippers, or shovel, and got to work. After several hours with barely a break, the gardens looked beautiful!
K&L Gates provided and planted new mums, adding attractive fall colors. The residents were delighted with their beautiful space! Thank you, K&L Gates!
