Thanks so much to our friends at Audible for their continuing support. In so many ways, the Newark based Audible has partnered with us to improve the lives of homeless youth in the community. They have been at our shelter to work directly with our youth for Corporate Service Days. They have provided us with tablets to support the learning activities at our Dove Learning Center. They have participated in various Sleep Outs to raise funds and awareness for homelessness.
And above all, they have worked with us to provide meaningful jobs to our youth at Audible and those youth are succeeding!
As a result of these efforts, we were delighted to recognize them with our Corporate Service Award at our recent Volunteer Appreciation Night. Thank you Rick Murphy and Pam Selitto and all your colleagues at Audible for all you’re doing to improve the lives of homeless youth and giving back to the Newark community.
