Amazon continues to support youth facing homelessness this holiday season. A special thank you to Sarah Carter (GMA) from the Amazon NJ team. Sarah nominated CHNJ for an Acts of Kindness gift for the holiday season and we were grateful to receive an award. Also part of the awarding was Hannah Larsen (Learning Coordinator), Raveena Mohabir (Senior HRA) and Bryan Kirkpatrick (Site Lead). They presented a gift of $3,500 which included a $1,000 Amazon Gift Card to be able to purchase what is most needed for our young people, plus a $2,500 cash donation.

Amazon’s holiday support comes after their recent sponsorship of Sleep Out Executive Edition in November. The Sleep Out was a huge success raising $1.42 million to support the work we do with our youth. We greatly appreciate Amazon’s continuing support. It follows on top of the long time support of their audio books division, Audible. Audible is located within walking distance of our shelter in Newark.
The holidays are always brighter when kindness is shown to others. Thank you Amazon for your continuing support of CHNJ and the youth facing homelessness here in NJ.
