On September 23, more than 300 leaders and professionals from the insurance industry gathered to support Covenant House New Jersey (CHNJ). Together, they raised more than $450,000 to help youth experiencing homelessness and survivors of human trafficking. The evening also featured a special conversation with Tom Brady, the legendary NFL quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl champion.
The program included a 30-minute discussion between Brady and Eric Andersen, longtime CHNJ Board member and President and CEO of AIG. Throughout the conversation, Brady reflected on the many mentors, coaches, teammates, family members, and friends who supported him throughout his career, both on and off the field.
He encouraged attendees to remember those who have not had the same support systems and to find meaningful ways, large or small, to help others succeed. His message resonated deeply with Covenant House’s mission of providing young people with the safety, stability, and opportunities they need to build brighter futures.
In a heartfelt thank-you message following the event, Brady reminded guests of the impact they are making:
“Thanks for believing in these young people. Thanks for investing in their future. Keep showing up. Keep believing. That’s how we change lives together.”
