As we close out Women’s History Month, we want to salute the female staff members at Covenant House NJ. Women represent the majority of our staff as well as the majority of our Leadership roles.
They continue to step up, time and time again whenever called upon to serve our youth. But they need your support as they step up yet again to go above and beyond their day to day care of our youth.
To show their amazing passion and commitment for our mission and the youth we serve, nine female staff members have already committed to sleeping out as part of Sleep Out Women Unite on Friday April 29th. These extraordinary women will use their personal time and give up their bed for just one night to raise funds to support the great work that Covenant House NJ does, of which they play such an important role. So as we close Women’s History Month, join us to support the extraordinary women at CHNJ and the work they do by
- Making a donation to their team page (Mission Possible) to support their fundraising efforts and/or
- Joining the many women coming together and register to participate in the Sleep Out Women Unite on April 29th.
Our staff were onsite for the last two years during the difficult COVID periods. They were onsite working extra shifts filling in for fellow staff members who were ill with COVID. And they are also wives, mothers and grandmothers – always there at home to support their families as well. Yet, they are answering the call once again by sleeping out. We hope that you can share in their extraordinary passion and commitment by supporting them at the Sleep Out.
