On Tuesday November 24th, the Presentation Knights Council and the Rotary Club of Ramsey hosted Thanksgiving for the youth and staff at our Newark shelter. Thanks to their generosity, our youth enjoyed a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings.
These two groups have been bringing dinner to our young people and staff for many years. Last year, due to COVID restrictions, they had the meals delivered to us since volunteers could not be onsite. This year, as fully vaccinated volunteers, everyone was grateful to be together again! Our sincere thanks and gratitude to these two outstanding groups. They are long time friends to CHNJ by supporting this tradition over so many years.
